For some time now I have struggled with a low sex drive, and latley with the addition of 2 large pups to our family (me=working f/t mom, working f/t dad, and 3 1/2 dd in preschool), I find myself at my limits, loosing my cool at times, irrational and irritable. I sound like a lovely person to be with huh?
I have an appt with a Dr the local compounding shop recommended for HRT, and I plan to swing a local store known for their natural oils, herbs, vitamins for health conditions.
I was hoping some other women may have experience with this and can share some of the products that work for them.

I'm a female in my late 30s and have been taking antidepressants for a few months now. Although they have worked wonders for my depression, I'm now suffering from the common sexual side effects. I.e. loss of libido and sensitivity. My doctor has suggested trying Viagra. Any women have any experience with this? How does it compare to Levitra, Cialis etc? Does it work?
During my depression I wasn't interested in sex at all, and before that I had a hard time reaching orgasm, although I did enjoy sex.
I'm also concerned about possible side effects and whether it will help me in the long run (perhaps "teach" me how to achieve orgasm?) or ruin me (will I never be able to enjoy sex without it again?)
Finally, my doctor has said the alternative would be to supplement my meds...
