Natural remedies for low libido

Naturally increase a loss of or low libido and improve sexual desire in women and men.

The desire for sex is very similar to a desire for food, in that both can be defined as a type of ‘appetite’. Just as we can have a loss of appetite for food, so can we lose our desire for sex.

A low libido refers to a lack of sexual desire or interest in having sexual intercourse. While low libido can affect both sexes, it is more commonly reported in women than in men.

Sexual desire varies from person to person and desire, in most instances, depends on a range of circumstances. Sometimes a low libido is a result of underlying physical conditions, while at other times it may be linked to psychological issues or a combination of the two.

Low libido can cause a range of relationship difficulties and may also affect self esteem. For men, especially, this type of sexual dysfunction is often hard to come to terms with and is a subject not easily discussed.

Because men are usually portrayed as highly sexual individuals, lack of libido may bring about feelings of guilt, , , shame and low self–esteem.

Diagnosing Low Libido

The symptoms and signs of low libido include reduced sexual desire, less frequent sexual thoughts and fantasies, and a reluctance to initiate sex. In addition, less frequent masturbation takes place and a lack of desire for sex still occurs even when there have been no sexual encounters for days, weeks, or even months.

What Causes Low Libido?

I should also disclose--
I come from a long long of communes and ashrams, sex and relationship workshops, before I met my wife. As I think I wrote above, I had not kissed another woman since 1998, and even that was in a cab, very drunk, at 4 AM.
My wife has very limited sex and relationship experience - does not read books or online things about love, sex, men---nothing. I gave her "Loving Relationships" a few weeks ago to read on a trip she made out of town. It's a pretty radical, if New-Age, book about sex and relationships. Her response was "I got a lot out of it!" and she never mentioned it again

Completely endocrinologically challenged (I think I just made up a new term) I can tell you it's going to take a lot longer than the few months his sugars have been stable before he even starts to show normal responses.
Has he had his thyroid checked recently? I have hypothyroidism and many of my other problem link back to this, including my getting my diabetes much earlier in life. My dad was 66 when his pancreas gave out and the man put 4 spoons of sugar in his coffee everyday.
The whole endocrinolgic system is interconnected... if the hormones go out of balance in one area of the system it will affect the another
